Terms of Service – Digifrens

Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Digifrens ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

Digifrens is an AI companion application that provides interactive avatar conversations with memory, voice, and personality features. The App supports multiple AI providers, voice engines, and avatar rendering technologies.

Subscriptions and Payments

Digifrens offers a free tier and a paid subscription plan (Digifrens+). By subscribing, you agree to the following:

Subscriptions are billed monthly at the rate displayed at the time of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

All purchases are processed through Apple and are subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA).

User Responsibilities

You agree to:

Use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Not use the App to generate harmful, abusive, or illegal content.
Keep your API keys and credentials secure. You are responsible for any usage incurred through your keys.
Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App.

Third-Party Services

The App allows you to connect to third-party AI and voice providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, ElevenLabs, and others) using your own API keys or through managed access. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms:

Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and assets within Digifrens are the property of Digifrens and its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the App without explicit permission.

Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that AI-generated responses will be accurate, appropriate, or error-free. You use the App at your own risk.

Digifrens is not a substitute for professional advice, including but not limited to medical, legal, financial, or mental health guidance.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Digifrens shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to data loss, service interruptions, or third-party API charges.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App at any time for violations of these terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it and cancelling any active subscriptions.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
